The Importance of Africa, Especially in Regard to Current Events
I was telling my wife last night that I was seeing how 100 years from now, in future
entertainment on television (assuming there will still be television) shows like “Modern
Marvels” will be replaced with a show entitled, “What Were They Thinking?”  That thought
came to me as I watched how some telephone service was advertising its latest 4-G
whatever.  I told my wife, when millions of people go blind from constantly looking at a little
screen, that title will be a real hoot.  What were they thinking?  Hahaha.  Stupid past people.

Along that same line of thought, today I open up my morning internet newspaper, and an
advertisement pops up for some “luxury” automobile.  I forget the make and model.  I can only
imagine something termed “luxury” goes along with a $50,000 price tag (if not higher).  I
remember when new cars, cool cars, cost $3,500.  Of course, you had to know where you
were going back then (or at least know how to read a map or ask for directions), so GPS
wasn’t built into the price.

Also in the morning news today was a report that four Americans were killed by Somali
pirates, during “negotiations” about how much they could afford to pay for the luxury of
freedom.  I had seen a report on television yesterday that said they had been taken captive,
and how one couple had put everything they owned into a yacht (sailboat), a load of Bibles,
and had taken off to sail around the world, giving free Bibles to everyone they met.  I
remember thinking, “What if they meet people who do not want a free Bible?”  It seemed to
me they were spreading the word that Americans can afford to retire young (mid-50s, early
60s), buy boat-loads of Bibles to give away, and yachts on which to sail the world in luxury.
Now, that couple is dead.  Somali pirates murdered them.

On Jay Leno a few years back (maybe 10 years?), I saw him do his “man on the street”
shtick, where he would ask easy questions and get stupid answers.  I remember him asking a
young couple (20-something), “Where was the Vietnam War fought?”  One had no clue, and
the other feebly said, “China?”  They looked seriously dumbfounded by the question.  I guess
history class was too boring?  Whatever, the point is most Americans are dumb as stumps,
especially when it comes to knowing where places are on the globe (thus a fetish for GPS).
Can you point to Somalia on a globe?  I imagine a lot of people cannot.

The news report on TV that said the couple had been captured near Somalia indicated they
were with a flotilla of boats (for protection, safety in numbers), with the plan to get to the Suez
Canal.  The Suez Canal is built on what was once desert sand, across Egypt, connecting the
Red Sea with the Mediterranean Sea.  Somalia juts out into the entrance of the Red Sea, like
a rhinoceros “horn,” thus that land mass is called the Horn of Africa.  It juts out to within a few
hundred miles of the part of the Middle East (Arabian Peninsula) called Yemen.  Yemen, you
might recall, is where the U.S. has to pay a “luxury” tax to the ruling government, so they will
pretend to be “tough on terrorism.”  There is a large faction of al-Qaeda in the wilderness of
Yemen that the government has a hard time controlling.  Yemen is where the U.S.S. Cole was
attacked, while it was docked at the Yemeni harbor in Aden.

The Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa pinch together at a point that represents the
entrance to the Red Sea, from the Indian Ocean, which funnels through the Gulf of Aden.
This is an important place in the world to travel because the British made Egyptian laborers
build a shortcut for their fleets, called the Suez Canal.  Oil tankers regularly travel through
that shortcut.  The news of Somali pirates patrolling those waters has been going on for
several years.  They like to board tankers and hold the crews for ransom.  Yesterday they
boarded a yacht and killed four Americans on vacation (since 2004), giving away free Bibles.

After the Somalis shot down a U.S. Blackhawk helicopter during the Bill Clinton
administrations attempt to put a lid on unrest and instability in famine-stricken Somalia,
around 1994, that part of the neighborhood has gone downhill fast.  That “feed the hungry”
campaign quickly turned into a “leave all the crates of food for the warlords to divide among
themselves, and let’s get the heck out of here” escape.  Nothing would be more image-
tarnishing to a sitting Democratic President than losing a war against Somalia.  The U.S. ran
from that conflict, but broke even on the movie deal (the royalties at least paid for the stuff left
behind), and Somalia has been celebrating their victory ever since.  That defeat meant the
CIA could not operate in Somalia as easily, without the pretense of giving away free food
(versus Bibles).  Ever since, they have become bands of AK-47-totin 15-year old pirates,
causing havoc on the high seas of the Gulf of Aden.

I know the news of the latest 4-G phones is mesmerizing, but does anyone remember last
week?  Does anyone recall the protesting in the streets in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt, and
the eventual ousting of the military dictator Honsi Mubarak?  Does anyone see that the
murdered vacationers with Bibles thought they could find safety by reaching the Suez Canal,
even though it was dangerous around Somalia?

How about the week before?  Does anyone remember the Tunisian president running away
and leaving Tunisia to run itself, because some people protested in the streets of Tunis?
What about the last couple of days?  Has anyone heard the news of the unrest in Libya?
How about Iran (oh, that's just a smoke screen.  Don't worry about Iran falling). But, do you
see a pattern developing?

Nostradamus makes it very clear that Europe will be invaded by sea.  The sea the invasion
will come from will be the Mediterranean Sea, although the named seas surrounding Italy and
Greece will be involved.  Those seas are really extensions of the Mediterranean.  There is no
question that many quatrains detail how ships will be sailing from North Africa to Spain,
France, and Italy, with the purpose of bringing warfare to an unsuspecting Western Europe.
The question is not so much why – hatred of Western luxuries is one reason why – as much
as it is how.  The how involves closing off the Mediterranean Sea from outsiders, like the
American and British navies (the US Navy's 6th Fleet is now stationed in Italy).

Close the Suez Canal and one end is instantly closed.  All ships carrying oil to fuel Western
luxury cars will have to sail around the Cape of Good Hope (South Africa) to get to Europe
and the U.S.A.  Close off Gibraltar (where the British park a fleet), and the Mediterranean Sea
is battleground ready.  Anyone caught inside the Mediterranean, with no way out, become
fish in a barrel.  That is what is behind all these recent demonstrations of unrest.

The Middle East and North Africa are slowly mobilizing for war.  It is not overtly obvious.  It is
more like a snake slowly moving into position to strike, making its prey feel comfortable with
the snake's acting unconcerned about wanting food.  The Muslims of North Africa and the
Middle East can’t have just one place go crazy at a time, or the US-led UN could be motivated
to send in some blue helmets to quell the instability.  They have to have a chain reaction of
events, where too many fires would be too much to be quelled by the pretense of military
intervention.  Make protests look peaceful (a few rocks thrown here and there maybe), with a
hint that political change would be like a lean towards “Democracy” (the most loved word of
all Western man), and all the people watching CNN and Fox will sit up with their little mouse
whiskers twitching, trying to get a sense of where everything is headed.  Then … BAM.  The
snake strikes and it is too late.  Mouse dead.

There is good reason to protest in the streets.  That reason is akin to something being rotten
in Denmark.  The US-Great Britain influence in the Middle East-North Africa has gone to the
breaking point.  It has always been unwanted, but before those poor people had no choice
but to let it happen.  Now they have a choice, and they are acting on that option.  They are
paving the way towards making the Western nations know what it feels like to be human,
rather than artificially inflated to the level of better than human – being affluent.  Able to afford
Bibles to give away, able to afford luxury cars with GPS, and able to afford I-Pods with a
gazillion apps.  Humans often starve to death when there is no food from drought.  Humans
often die from no medicines to fight simple diseases, much less major diseases.  Westerners
have not experienced being human for quite some time.  The world is prepared to bring
Westerners down to reality.

While the planets are aligned to unrest, America is not immune to that desire to give a shout
out.  The last few days the news has been more filled with the governor of Wisconsin
planning on busting the state employee’s union, simply to meet the demands of a near
bankrupt budget.  Fourteen Democratic senators fled to Illinois, where Democrats can always
find protection, and every other vice in the world that protection makes billions off of.
Democrats from Indiana are even reported headed to Illinois to avoid voting to bust state
unions.  Every night the television shows the latest protest signs the mobs have shown up to
wave in front of the TV cameras, when the light turns red.  They are shouting out to the world,
although most Americans cannot hear it, “Greed!  Greed!  Greed!  Americans love Greed!”

That, my friends, is why North Africa is being secured for an invasion that will shove that
attitude down the world’s throat, till it chokes us to death.  Time to tweet some inane chatter,
and buy another app for the I-Pod.  Make sure the Lexus keeps you updated on Facebook
while you drive.  Please, don’t do anything to wake-up and see how the GPS is flashing a
warning, “You are going the wrong way.  Please turn around.”
