The Astrology of Nostradamus

A System for Understanding (The Prophecies)
Thank you for coming to hear me speak today.

Thanks to Sandra and the board members for letting me have this opportunity.

Today my topic is the Astrology of Nostradamus, but the focus will be on how astrology is one of the
systems for understanding
The Prophecies.

What I will present to you today will probably be more than you expect, and nothing like you have heard
before.

How many here know basic astrology?

How many here know a foreign language ... Fluently?

Rhetorical question, but how many people learned either astrology or a foreign language without wanting
to?

Astrologers seek out knowledge of astrology.

Those who know little of value about astrology usually do not care to hear how astrology is a valuable
tool to learn – they reject it without debate

Nostradamus was an astrologer.  He wrote in the foreign language called Old French.  He wrote in the
foreign language of astrology.  He wrote in a foreign language that must be learned in order to
understand.

Because
The Prophecies is like the language of astrology, astrologers are best equipped to understand
– at least that part.

But,  understanding requires a desire to learn something new, and
like astrology is not that, but similar.

Without a desire to learn how there is value, Nostradamus and
The Prophecies are rejected without
debate.

I am here today to give you some insights about how you can read Nostradamus and understand what
he wrote - for yourself.

I have a prepared lecture that will use up an hour, and some elements may be confusing at first.

I welcome all questions, but please make notes and hold your questions until I have finished.

Thank you.

Understanding Nostradamus is something special people like astrologers can master.

Astrologers have already learned that “second language,” which is one Nostradamus knew and used in
The Prophecies.

To understand that work, astrologers only have to learn that Nostradamus explained the meaning of his
unusual 4-line verses (called quatrains).

Understanding Nostradamus is then just a matter of understanding two letters he wrote.
One is a Preface.

The other is a letter he sent to his king, in response to the king’s demand for explanation.

The word “preface” is defined as, “A preliminary statement or essay introducing a book that explains its
scope, intention, or background.”

That means Nostradamus wrote a preliminary explanation of the scope, intention & background for
The
Prophecies
.

The letter sent to King Henry II is then an explanation for
all the quatrains AND the Preface AND the
explanation letter itself.

This means that BEFORE anyone can attempt to interpret one quatrain, one needs to know what theme
is expected to be found in it

Then, AFTER one comes up with an interpretation of a quatrain, one needs to back that up with
something showing how Nostradamus explained to look for such in the quatrains

That is the Logical approach.
In the letter to Henry, Nostradamus wrote that The Prophecies (including the Preface) were written by
“enigmatic sentence”.

That explains why the king could not understand the book … because he was trying to read normal
sentences from abnormal ones.

Nostradamus then explained there is “not one lone sense,” or “not only one meaning” to those
“sentences”.

He then explained that (and this is very important to understand),
The Prophecies was written “without
anything ambiguous”.

All that seems “ambiguous” is “not”.

Everything is “amphibological”.

And … everything is “amphibological” by “calculation”.

Therefore, “nothing is ambiguous that is not an amphibological calculation.”
