I just checked the statistics for this site and found that 46% of the searches entered, which led to my site, were "disproving Nostradamus."  I want to readdress this, just in case some new folks want to keep from reading the past entries.

First, let me say that disproving Nostradamus is an excellent first step.  I have asked over and over for everyone to realize the necessity of using logical argument to achieve any reasonable means of proving or disproving the MEANING of what Nostradamus wrote.  There is adequate proof that Nostradamus did write something named The Prophecies.  The question and doubt arises when someone places meaning to those words, without connecting that meaning to something Nostradamus wrote to confirm that meaning.  In other words ... what you, he, she and it want to disprove is something someone other than Nostradamus SAID, WROTE OR GUESSED Nostradamus meant.

I have found that the letters Nostradamus wrote do in fact address the intended meaning of the quatrains, both generally and specifically.  The problem is no one (other than myself) has really made an effort to understand the letters.  Without reading (and understanding) the instructions contained in the letters, one is nothing more than a fool to step onto the thin limb of guesswork and proclaim knowledge about the meaning of enigmatic verses.  Still, with closer inspection one finds that the so-called experts and authors on Nostradamus have really ventured no further than the strongest, widest, safest part of the limb, while holding onto the trunk - meaning they only stake their claims on roughly 1.5% of 948 quatrains, leaving the other 98.5% as relatively meaningless.  Statisticians call their claims nothing more than pure chance.  This causes Nostradamus to be thrown out with the bath water, when nothing has been proven at all.

Please read through the pages on the site to get more knowledge.  Remember - everything (basically) you thought you knew about Nostradamus is wrong!  That statement in no way implies that Nostradamus is wrong.  You just know nothing about Nostradamus that is valid, true and logically founded.
