I want to talk a little about my first book, which is the first in a series of books, named Pearls Before Swine. That book is called Volume 1. I have stated here that I rushed to make that public, while including too much information, making it 740 pages long, big as an Atlanta phone book and difficult to read. It is, at best, a reference book that no one will ever completely read. At the Amazon list price of $41.95, the book needs to be retired and redone.
It was initially published by AuthorHouse in March, 2005. To keep it available on Amazon I paid for the book to remain "live" up until March, 2008. I am retiring that book, as I will not retain the live status. While I'm sure some "used" copies will remain available, new copies will no longer be available, as Pearls Before Swine, Volume 1: Predicting the Past. However, I will be representing everything in that book in separate, shorter, more readable and more affordable books, under the same name - Pearls Before Swine.
When I begin to reproduce the PBS series, my second book, The Letters of Nostradamus, will become a part of that series. It will then also be retired and reproduced under a new title, with minimal revisions. The Letters of Nostradamus will remain live, as is, until November, 2008. After that it will not be made available under the ISBN number it currently identifies with.
Please keep in mind that everything you need to know about what Nostradamus' message is is found available for free on this site. Nostradamus, as a prophet of God and the Spirit of Jesus Christ, tells us the same as the other biblical prophets have told us. Nostradamus puts the prophecy in a more modern perspective, so we can easily see the specific pains of suffering that lie before us, should we let this future occur as prophesied. The point is to read what Jesus said, through the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) and realize the ways of life Jesus taught then are the ways of life now that can make the story of Nostradamus become an unrealized prophecy. Still, the message is not to focus on saving the world. The message is saving yourself, as best you can, before the Judgment of Christ comes.
Please also keep in mind that Jesus did not come to earth to create a religion. He was born a Jew and obeyed the laws and customs of the people who were God's chosen people, specifically to create a monotheistic religion. That religion is now called Judaism.
Jesus came to create a way of life for Gentiles and Jews alike, but Gentiles do not have to observe Jewish laws or mores to be Christian. Likewise, they do not have to practice the laws or mores of the Roman Catholics, the Eastern Orthodox Church, or the many divisions of the Protestant branches.
Jesus did not teach us to hate those of different religions, faiths, practices or customs. All Jesus came to tell us to do was act humane in all our doings. If we do that, we are Christian, no matter what we do with our time, related to a dogmatic religion. Religion is good, as long as it promotes goodness, just like we are similarly good or not good. If we do not show good in our actions, but we profess to be, say ... (pick any name) Baptist or Episcopalian or Jehova's Witness ... we are nothing more than not-good whatevers. Being a member of a club won't save the world.
Hopefully some of you will realize what I mean. Anyway, until PBS becomes "dead," if you really want a copy, try going to the AuthorHouse site (I have a link on the main page, I think). Its only $25.25 there, brand new. That's lower than any price on Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
Thanks, the Mgmt
