I got an email from a “little Jimmy”, who asked me the following question: Sir, why is it that Nostradamus does not talk to you in dreams and tell you all about what is going to happen in the world, so that everyone will know a specific prediction that will act as a litmus test, which will then come true precisely as predicted, precisely when the predicted time will have been foretold, so that everyone will begin believing in Nostradamus?  Little Jimmy was concerned about why there were so many opinions about what Nostradamus said, but no two of them being alike.  Little Jimmy saw this as a lot of people telling people what they thought they wanted to hear, for the goal of being selected to do a sound-bite on an upcoming History Channel production of Why Not to Believe in Nostradamus.  Little Jimmy thought being able to understand Nostradamus was a lot like being a liar, or a politician, whichever shoe fits best.

Well, let me first say Little Jimmy that you are an astute lad.  What I propose is a redistribution of the wealth that a relative few people control, as far as Nostradamus knowledge, and spread that evenly to all who have little knowledge about Nostradamus.  Now, I do not see this as Nostradamus Socialism, but rather a CHANGE in the way things have been done, with HOPE that everyone will stop being mindless sheep that cannot reach a valued judgment on their own.  I believe it is time to stop being slaves to the Nostradameans of the world, and let freedom ring in the hearts of each individual, so that all can be equal in knowing how to interpret Nostradamus.  Only with this CHANGE of collective thought can we all work together towards a mutual trust in what the future is said to hold, so we can all make radical CHANGE in the direction the world is headed.

I see Jimmy the Questioner as just like many people across this country.  Joe the Inquirer, Mary the Querier, Fred the Skeptic, Sal the Doubtful, and Rufus the Quizzer, all are just like Little Jimmy, because they all want to know the answer.  I believe they all need to realize the answer lies within them, and not in the websites of “questionable characters”, who all say they have all the answers.  Little Jimmy has hit a nerve, because he has his finger on the pulse of what this country wants and needs.

Let me say right now that I do not have all the answers.  I never have said that.  I have all the proof I need to provide me with the necessary answers for me to live my life accordingly.  Still, I cannot make anyone else on this planet see what I see, walk in my shoes, or feel what I touch.  As the saying goes, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.”  So true; but keep in mind a horse is one of the more denser animals (mentally) on earth.  There is HOPE for all who are able to read these words.

In order to know for yourself just what Nostradamus meant in his poems about the future, you have to be able to understand each word of what was written in the two letters of explanation.  When I say that, I mean you have to understand the Old French.  If you are like me, with English as your only fluent language, you should expect to spend at least six months looking up each word, realizing that some Old French is no longer in use.  Of course, you could save some time by reading one of my books, where I save the reader that time.  You also need to learn a new way of reading, which steps away from syntax (otherwise all Old French fluent Old French people would have understood Nostradamus long ago; but they didn’t) and meditate on the full extent of the meaning of each word, as how it translates into English (or whatever language you are fluent in; but I have only done work into English).

Now, I can write my interpretations of how all the words fall together into statements, which can only be extensive paraphrases of what was actually written; but that leads away from what was actually written, and makes it all my opinion, which is what all the other Nostradamus interpreters do.  That does not mean my interpretation is wrong, however.  It means that even when I try to look at a three-dimensional 360-degree meaning of one word, connected to another word, and another, I just cannot see all of the meaning that is there.  I need help.  I need everyone else to come up with the different aspects that completes the interpretation that I have produced, which is as limited and as flawed as any human being can be.
